Program notes:
The initial plan for this piece was sketched in 1999, after an informal commission by percussionist Fernando Hashimoto to compose a piece for the then newly created Grupo de Percussão da Unicamp (GRUPU). The first five minutes of the tape part were finished in the same year, at the nascent Unicamp Electroacoustic Music Studio. For various reasons, the piece had to wait until 2003 to be finally completed.
